Our company is looking for an experienced and motivated Authorizations Coordinator to join our Skilled Wound Care team! Essential Job Duties: Request for prior authorizations for services requested by MD Request Authorizations for continuation of care for services being rendered by MD Communicate with MD regarding services not approved Must be willing to work the graveyard Shift - Will be working US hours Compensation $5/hr Requirements: At least 1 year experience in authorizations is required 1+ years’ experience working in a healthcare setting (i. e. hospital, medical/dental office, nursing facilities, etc.) At least 1 year of experience applying knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within dept Ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize needs, multi-task and manage needs is essential.
