Attorney III - Office of the Commissioner Representing Employers Join the Texas Workforce Commission and Make a Difference for Texas Employers The Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) Office of the Commissioner Representing Employers is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Attorney III to join our dynamic legal team on a full-time basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable, high-level experience in employment and administrative law, directly supporting the Commissioner who represents Texas employers in matters related to workforce development and labor law. As an Attorney III in our office, you will play a vital role in advising and supporting the Commissioner, contributing to the advancement of a pro-employer environment in Texas. You will report to the Commissioner’s Senior Legal Counsel and work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated legal team of four attorneys.  TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. Key functions of the legal team include: -Preparing for weekly Unemployment Insurance appeals cases. -Presenting content at the Texas Conference for Employers, an employment law information conferences sponsored and hosted by the TWC Employer Commissioner. -Managing a statewide employer hotline and constituent email for employment
