board-certified physician, experience in primary care, experience in long-term care (LTC), leadership skills, ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs
What You'll Do.
overseeing and managing the primary medical care for residents
act as the primary care provider for the patients
ensuring their overall health and well-being
Conduct patient rounds
assess and manage resident care
Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses
overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
Discuss treatment plans
and advance care planning with residents and their families
Maintain accurate medical records
ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care; Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care
Communication Scope
Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
