Must Have
Must be at least 18 years of age, Valid driver's license
Nice to Have
High School Diploma or GED, 1 or more years of experience in meter reading, 1 or more years of continuous work experience with the same employer, 6 or more months working in an outdoor environment
What You'll Do.
Inspect gas meters and associated piping for proper
Report any other abnormal operating condition (AOC's) found
Follow strict utility
state and federal guidelines for
Collect data using handheld computer or other collection
quality and operational procedures
Complete assigned routes and work orders on the
Inspect meters in various environmental conditions
Inspect gas meters by walking from site to
Refer all consumer complaints to the appropriate authorities
Provide general information about the meter services to
and/or computers to communicate
Participate in safety meetings
Provide timely reports and documentation to management per
Show courtesy and professionalism when dealing with customers
