Heavy (up to 50 lbs. ), physically able to demonstrate rehabilitation exercises as needed, 40 hours per week, up to 7 days per week, on a variable schedule based on department needs, Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours will be required, Travel will be required, willing to work a flexible schedule, full consumer background check, post-offer physical agility test

Must Have
NATABOC certified, in good standing in the NATABOC, adhere to the NATA Professional Standards and Code of Ethics, valid driver’s license, ability to be insured under the College’s authorized driver’s policy, bachelor's degree in athletic training, physical education, kinesiology, or related field of study, or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, Coursework must include the completion of the Board of Certification (BOC) curriculum requirements, Some collegiate work, either as an intern or work experience as an athletic trainer
Nice to Have
master’s degree in athletic training or related field of study, American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/First-Aid Certified Instructor
What You'll Do.
supervising the athletic training room operation
works with both male and female sports
Determine a student-athlete’s ability to practice or compete
Mentor Athletic Training Students and student aides
Consult with coaches to discuss weight training
and return to practice/play
home and away competitions
and other events as assigned
Coordinate assigned sports/athlete preventive and rehabilitative treatments
Assist with student-athlete physical evaluations
arrange for medical referrals when necessary
Assist in the maintenance of student-athlete health/injury records
Monitor and ensure compliance with provisions and regulations of the NCAA
and the institution’s policies and procedures
Report any compliance issues to the CMS Compliance Office
Participate in the Athletic Training Education Program as a clinical preceptor
Administrative duties as assigned
Interact in a positive way with all of intercollegiate athletics
the campus and off-campus medical communities
Comply with all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division III
Remain in good standing of all required training and certifications

Team & Collaboration
works with both male and female sports; in collaboration with qualified medical practitioners and/or the team physician; Consult with coaches; works with the Associate Athletic Director, strength and conditioning coaches, head coaches, other athletic trainers, and student-athletes; collaborative member of the College, Athletics Department, and Sports Medicine Department
Communication Scope
effective, accurate, and clear communication; excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, reading, and phone skills; Follow all written and verbal instructions, asking questions as needed for clarification of projects/tasks/duties/assignments
