Support adherence to company-wide import/export and global transportation, Follow established guidelines, Highlight potential issues to senior team members, Support import/export shipping activities, Apply established guidelines to support classification of goods, Maintain knowledge of U.
Departments of Commerce, Ensure all product flow meets U.
and, Ensure document controls are in place, Complete assigned classification and documentation tasks, Escalate questions or discrepancies to senior team members, Participate in internal and external product training events, Perform other incidental and related duties as required.

This includes the review of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) and the Commerce Control List to accurately assign HTSUS values and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs). The Associate Trade Compliance Classification Specialist will review and evaluate item classifications to ensure total compliance with all U.S. Trade Regulations, as well as escalate transactions to the Sr. Trade Compliance Classification Specialist and/or Trade Compliance Management Team in accordance with U.S. law and internal company directives. This role is based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of two days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed. # **Responsibilities:** * Supports adherence to company-wide import/export and global transportation policies, procedures, and controls by following established guidelines and highlighting potential issues to senior team members * Support import/export shipping activities * Applies established guidelines to support the classification of goods under U.S. import/export regulations with guidance from senior team members. * Maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of all applicable U.S. Departments of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission regulation
