What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, 2+ years of related systems engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines, Experience as a self-starter with written and oral communication skills, and a focus complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts
Nice to Have
Experience in verification & validation of requirements, Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i. e. IBM DOORs), Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test
What You'll Do.
Apply an interdisciplinary
collaborative approach to plan
and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements
integrate technical parameters
and assure compatibility of all physical
and program interfaces.
Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Perform analyses for affordability
human systems integration
and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
and monitoring of requirements management processes

and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolve cross-functional technical issues.
Lead and execute emergent and specialty projects in support of design
Plan and implement readiness activities in support of design maturity and factory execution such as flight test/mission assurance readiness reviews
technical design reviews
and resolving systemic issues involving heavy maintenance activities.
Partner with Applicant FAA Certification Team to ensure execution is aligned with programmatic schedule and strategies.
