Northrop Grumman is seeking an **Associate Structural Engineer** **or Structural Engineer** **.** This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Iuka, MS. **Key responsibilities:** Candidate should be knowledgeable in classical static strength hand analysis, Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) analysis, and finite element modeling and analysis for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from metal and composite materials. Should be able to develop and document detailed structural analyses in support of aircraft repairs including but not limited to free body diagrams, internal or external loading, shear and moment diagrams, and calculation of internal stresses. Analyses will be in support of Material Review Board (MRB), and Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP). Aircraft structural design criteria, and nonstandard repair and equivalent strength analysis background is a plus. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project
