Full Job Description
Future Standard is currently seeking talent with strong quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills for an Associate/Sr. Associate position on the Firm’s North American Primary Fund Investment Team (formerly the Portfolio Advisors Primary Fund Investment team). The Primary Fund Investment unit represents the Firm’s longest standing strategy (established in 1994) and the foundation for the Firm’s middle market sponsor-focused investment platform with integrated capabilities across primaries, direct equity, secondaries (LP and GP-led), and credit (senior, junior and solutions based). The Firm currently has over 200 sponsor relationships and commits to 40-50 funds per year, representing ~$2 billion of capital committed annually. As an integral senior member of the Primary Fund Investment Team, this individual will be expected to apply their skills towards assisting the construction and oversight of the Firm’s comingled multi-manager vehicle as well as separate account portfolios and actively participate in investment due diligence, performance monitoring and helping source equity co-investments, secondaries and direct credit opportunities for the broader investment platform. The position offers a rigorous learning experience and exposure to the institutional investment management industry, including the various areas within private equity – Buyout, Venture Capital / Growth Equity and Special Situations – across both established and emerging managers.
