What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business equivalent, Knowledge of US, UK, CA or AUS Federal, state, local payroll tax regulations, Knowledge of payroll information systems, business application systems and personal computer skills is required, Good communication skills, at least 2 years’ experience of working within a payroll or tax environment, High level of energy, self-direction, motivation, follow-through and issue ownership, Advanced skills in Word, Excel and other database applications, Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment, analytical and problem solving and continuous process improvement skills, Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice to Have

Experience on Workday HCM/Payroll is preferred

What You'll Do.

prepares and submits payroll tax reports and payments

ensures compliance with tax laws and regulations

collate & update payroll tax forms

reconcile payroll tax data

handle employee inquiries related to payroll taxes

Timely & accurate deposits and Reporting of US/UK/CA/AUS Federal/State/Local/County; Unemployment & back up withholding taxes

providing customer service on Payroll tax issues to business and employees

performing Tax research

registration and correspondence

assisting with State registrations and multi-state reporting

providing support for tax audits

performing system testing of new authorities

Tax rules & rate changes

driving process improvements and automation

handling special projects as assigned
