What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience in Flight Management Systems, Experience with Matlab/Python scripting, Experience in Machine learning and data analytics, Experience in Deep Learning and Neural Network models, Bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Aerospace) and typically 5 to 8 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e. g. master’s in engineering + 4 years' related work experience)
Nice to Have
Experience/Exposure to Flight Operations, Experience related to EFB/Flight Deck applications, Experience using big data analytics, Agentic AI, and modelling, Familiarity with airplane avionics, network protocols and airplane system integration, Familiarity with Flight Data Monitoring and Flight Data Analytics, Assists in the facilitation of team meetings across time zones, Delivers informative, well-organized presentations, Excellent verbal and written English, including grammar, Problem Solving, Identifies critical issues with ease, Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems, Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products, Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones, Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindset

work in the Boeing Digital Services solutions team
collaborating within an Agile team setting
working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/Story creation as well as solution design and architecture
Work in close cooperation - actively aligns the technical roadmap
with teams based in international locations
Create and maintain necessary software design and architecture documentation
Keep track of and actively reduce technical debt
provide support to development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets
Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends
competition offerings and advancements in aircraft performance and sustainability
Research and recommend new system requirements to improve the product capabilities
