What You'll Do.
Feeding the sales pipeline by identifying and developing new sales leads
Routing/decisioning existing leads appropriately
Researching key accounts and sourcing
educating and qualifying new prospects via phone and email to create sales ready opportunities
Qualifying and setting up initial discovery calls for the sales team within their territory via lead optimization and outbound efforts
and/or following up with unassigned leads
Identifying additional potential leads in key accounts
and enriching prospect account information
Building account plans and monitoring key accounts for activity that can lead to engagement
Identifying new relevant prospects and enriching SalesForce.com
Prospecting into accounts via phone
and outreach in order to set quality meetings in territories with pipeline deficits
Producing qualified meetings for Sales/Sales Development that convert into pipeline opportunities
Achieving key metrics and adhering to SLA’s for Marketing MQLs on a monthly and quarterly basis
Performing research on companies as a component of lead generation and qualification activities utilizing the web and other available research tools
Navigating through an organization to get what you need
Building and maintaining alignment and positive partnerships with Sales and Marketing to meet regional objectives
Learning the market and the business
Setting goals for yourself to gain consideration for promotion
Understanding and living by the Ping Identity values

Ping Identity is currently hiring for a Sales Development Associate (SDA) to aid and initiate sales cycles for our team. This position is responsible for feeding the sales pipeline by identifying and developing new sales leads to pass on to Ping Identity's sales organization, routing/decisioning existing leads appropriately, researching key accounts and sourcing, contacting, educating and qualifying new prospects via phone and email to create sales ready opportunities. In conjunction with inbound marketing leads, the Sales Development team qualifies and sets up initial discovery calls for the sales team within their territory via lead optimization and outbound efforts.
