Associate Real-Time Software Engineer **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for an **Associate Real-Time Software Engineer** to join our **Special Projects Dallas (SPD) P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) ​team** in **Richardson, TX**. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. At Boeing, our software engineers use their expertise to dream up next generation software capabilities for some amazing aerospace platforms. The Boeing SPD AAS team provides the mission systems software that runs on the P-8A to provide the warfighter the ability to perform mission and tactic planning, interface with the sensor, display sensor data to the operator, and replay missions. The team also provides the capability to train fleet operators on the AAS mission by adding simulations to the baseline P-8 Training system. In this role, you will execute the full lifecycle development, including software engineering life-cycle design, development, integration and maintenance support for the P-8A AAS Mission Systems contracts. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.** **Position Responsibilities:** * Partner with hardware, software, and systems engineering to design, develop, troubleshoot, and test P-8A AAS Mission Systems and Training Systems software * Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. * Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. * Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
