As the Associate of Real Estate Finance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a commercial mortgage portfolio and will also liaise with various internal partners. You will be responsible for the due diligence of the borrower, bond and property information provided by clients and account managers. These tasks require an in-depth knowledge of customers and the company, the real estate sector, regulatory issues, economic or political trends and customer needs. In collaboration with Account Managers, the incumbent must prepare credit applications that must be submitted to and authorized by the CIBC Risk Management Unit. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.
