Develop aircraft propulsion structures that are safe, compliant, and reliable at the lowest cost and weight; Meet all defined design criteria; Design completed within an agreed timeframe; Optimize the design and achieve program goals
Industry & Context.
Willing to travel domestically as needed, Must meet U. S. export control compliance requirements, A “U. S. Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. §120.62 is required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), 2+ years of experience with structural design, Willing to travel domestically as needed to support our customers
Nice to Have
1+ years of experience in aircraft structure, materials and properties, design criteria, and release processes, 1+ years of experience with engineering design tools such as CATIA, ENOVIA, and/or PDM, Experience with aircraft Nacelle structures design
What You'll Do.
integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements
maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs
Use 3-D Computer Aided Design tools
Perform tests to validate and verify systems
Assist with supplier development
test and production activities
Support investigation of emerging technologies
Develop concepts for future product designs
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordination with the supplier to optimize the design; Coordination with other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers
