Must Have
operations and technical skills, understanding of Flex functional standards, general knowledge of functional concepts, rudimentary understanding of Flex policies and procedures, awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions, Ability to operate telephones, data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers, Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, Ability to collect data, establish facts, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, close vision
What You'll Do.
Lead production of several processes/lines
Evaluate plant operating performance
Advise on changes to improve efficiencies and quality
Lead team to meet quality
Troubleshoot and analyze operational problems
Guide discussions with operators for coaching
Solicit and evaluate ideas for plant improvements
Collaborate with engineers to develop project proposals
Provide technical and operational advice
Act as interface between operation and maintenance
Engage in training and coaching junior operators
Prioritize production schedules
Initiate and participate in process development
Initiate and participate in cost improvement projects
Assist in department budget planning
Manage department expenses
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Educate and direct individuals on control points
Educate and direct individuals on equipment use
Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Ensure compliance to manufacturing standards

Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability. * Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals. * Provides technical and operational advice to project teams. * May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function. * Engage in training and coaching of junior operators. * Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements. * Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects. * Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses. * Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. * Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards. ****Knowledge
