Full Job Description
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. We're Airtasker, the tech company that connects people who need to get things done with those who have the skills to do it. Our mission is to empower people to realise the full value of their skills. This doesn't just apply to those who use our product. It's also for our whole team of go-getters who bring the product to life and deliver impact to our community on a daily basis. Because we believe work (and life) is always better when you truly know and appreciate your strengths and skills. We're on the hunt for an Associate Product Designer to join our Organic Acquisition team. This is one of the most exciting places to be at Airtasker right now. Organic Acquisition sits at the forefront of how we reach new Customers across AU, UK and US, and the playbook is being rewritten in real time. We're figuring out how Airtasker shows up in AI searches, building an Airtasker MCP so users can get anything done through their favourite AI, designing localised content and page experiences for each of our markets, and finding new ways to surface our community of Taskers so Customers can find exactly who they want. This role suits someone with hustle, a real love for designing and building, and a strong visual design eye. Your PM will bring you well-defined problems to solve, and your job is to take that brief, run with it creatively, and come back quickly with directions the team can react to. You'll ideate broadly, not just polish one answer, and you'll use AI tools to build and prototype faster than you could by hand. You'll have a support network of a design team, product managers, your design manager and engineers to help you grow in your craft and your career, delivering work you're genuinely proud of. Join our team and help shape the future of Airtasker! WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Take a defined brief and run with it. Your PM will help define the problem to solve. Your job is to come back quickly with creative directions the team can react to, not
