POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate will be primarily responsible for providing prompt, thorough responses to customer inquiries and assist in the facilitation of support to service offices related to purchasing and their operations. This role will learn about the organization and assist in supplier relationships, supply transactions, preparing reports, spend analysis, presentations, and administrative and project support to the Procurement team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability. Four (4) year college degree. Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of professionalism and discretion. Preferred knowledge of basic supply chain management. Understands and connects with the BAYADA Home Health Care culture. Able to problem-solve and identify effective solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way. Develop working knowledge of BAYADA's mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures. Responsible for taking incoming calls and emails for customer inquiries related to order placement, confirmation and tracking, product issue, vendor expectations, inventory tracking, deviations from normal supply chain processes and emergent requests. Maintain customer relationship by prompt response to inquiries, follow up, documentation and proposed suggestions for improvements to customer experience. Learn the process of all procurement, fulfillment, and distribution activity related to service and support office operations. Support the processes that monitor and manage supplier relationships, performance oversight, and assist in the oversight of supplier performance metrics & system. Support the implementation of strategic sourcing objectives and supplier partnerships to ensure consistent quality of material and timely delivery, price savings, and overall supply chain
