What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field, Exposure to general ledgers, workpapers, and financial statement preparation, Knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office suite, Highly detail-oriented, Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting across all levels of an organization
Nice to Have
Experience with alternative investment funds, including Private Equity, Familiarity with investment partnerships and related accounting concepts skills, with confidence interacting across all levels of an organization
What You'll Do.
Perform bank reconciliations and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
accurate work within tight reporting deadlines
taking ownership of key deliverables
Prepare and maintain comprehensive workpapers
including capital activity
investment transactions
and income and expense accruals
Update and manage distribution waterfall (carried interest) models with precision
Calculate management fees and produce detailed supporting schedules
Analyze transaction documentation to understand investment structures
and accrual requirements
Support the year-end audit process
partnering closely with internal teams
and external auditors
Build relationships with clients and key stakeholders
including legal counsel
to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery
Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage technology to enhance efficiency
and scalability of accounting workflows

Some 23,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest companies to small and mid-market firms, rely on SS&C for expertise, scale, and technology. The SS&C Launch Program is designed to seamlessly transition recent college graduates into their professional careers. It provides entry-level hires with a cross-functional understanding of the organization and equips them with a strong skills foundation to succeed at SS&C. The Launch Program includes a 3-week all in-person immersive training period which will take place from August 3 – August 21, 2026 in a location that has yet to be determined. Travel, housing, and daily stipend included for those not local to the training location. Upon completion of the Launch program and if in good standing, the final placement will be hybrid in the Union, NJ or New York City office. The program's goal is to expose high-potential graduates to multiple aspects of the financial services business segments, preparing them for future leadership roles within their respective functional areas.
