Associate Packaging Engineering Specialist (Level 2) **Company:** The Boeing Company **The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization **is seeking an**Associate Packaging Engineering Specialist (Level 2)** to join our dynamic team in**Hazelwood, MO.** **_Position Responsibilities:_** * Under supervision, determines efficiencies and prepares improvements for implementation as part of cost effective worldwide distribution and storage by considering practical packaging and/or handling applications. * Assists in providing logistics support analysis by applying established company policies and procedures in accordance with domestic and international laws. * Assists in developing warehousing material flow, equipment layout, and capital budget to store assembly and support materials. * Under supervision, maintains employee awareness for hazardous materials (dangerous goods) general familiarization, function specific, and safety requirements by providing walk-through support to meet federal and international regulations. * Assists in training and compliance for the implementation of HM-232 (Hazardous Materials Security Plans) for the receiving, storing and shipping of hazardous materials. * Under supervision, evaluates, classifies and develops packaging instructions for hazardous materials. * Assists in planning the markings, labeling, packaging, and documentation for shipments in compliance with Federal, State, and International regulations. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.** The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. ** _Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):_** * 1+ years of experience reading & interpreting engineering drawings and specifications * 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) * 1+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables * 1+ years of experience working with CAD
