Eligibility Requirements

Willing to work a rotating shift schedule, Occasional weekends and overtime, U. S. Person as defined by 22 C. F. What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Experience in authoring or reviewing weight and balance manuals/documents for regulatory requirements, Experience in estimating and measuring the weight of completed airframes or space vehicles, Willing to work first, second and/or third shift and weekends as required to support flight line operations

Nice to Have

3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Demonstrate dedication to flight safety, a passion for aerospace, an emphasis on teamwork, outstanding interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a demanding, high visibility environment, Experience authoring and checking Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual, Catia, Enovia, REDARS, IVT, Velocity

What You'll Do.

Develop inventory equipment lists

Determine center of gravity of aircraft

Prepare Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual

Balance flight control surfaces

Develop standard flight load planning

Direct airplane loading

Inspect aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight

Calculate effects of variable load elements on airplane gross weight

Calculate effects of variable load elements on center of gravity

Prepare flight manifest

Determine centers of gravity of components

Determine centers of gravity of assemblies

Resolve routine problems with equipment

Resolve routine problems with components

Resolve routine problems with weight systems
