Manage day-to-day coordination of mechanical contractors, verifying installation compliance with approved design documents, specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress of chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, piping installations, ductwork, and air distribution systems, identifying deficiencies and non-conformances early. Review and approve mechanical contractor submittals, RFIs, and material substitution requests in coordination with design team and client standards. Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and coordinate equipment delivery schedules to align with construction milestones and critical path activities. Lead pre-commissioning activities including flushing, pressure testing, balancing, and start-up of mechanical systems to ensure readiness for commissioning. Monitor construction schedule adherence for mechanical scope, proactively identifying delays and implementing recovery plans to maintain project timeline.
