Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of software development experience, 1–2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity, hands-on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar), Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level, scalable applications, Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, understanding of system design, architecture, and software engineering principles, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, Proven ability to balance technical contributions with people leadership responsibilities
Nice to Have
Experience building and scaling technology platforms within the fund of hedge funds or alternative investments space, domain expertise in investment systems, risk platforms, data architecture, and workflow automation, Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and platform scalability within investment management environments, Professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA, Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), Experience with CI/CD pipelines
