**Job Description** SIM is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates will be expected to deliver the course content in a 3-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, and manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the course coordinator based in the partner university to achieve the desired students’ outcome. **Module: Airport Design** This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles, practices, trends, and challenges related to airport design and development. It emphasises the development of analytical and problem-solving skills essential for the field. Students will explore various considerations involved in designing and developing airport facilities, focusing on layout, functionality, and operational efficiency. Core topics include: * International and domestic regulations and standards for airport design and development * Factors influencing the design approach and development process * Fundamental principles guiding airport design and development * Challenges in creating facilities and processes that ensure safe, efficient airport operations * Best practices in airport design and development The course equips students with the ability to gather and analyse critical data for creating effective airport design concepts, focusing on processes and functionality. Additionally, students will apply their knowledge and skills to real-world airport design problems through case studies and simulations, where possible, providing a practical and immersive learning experience. Classes are mostly conducted during weekday evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
