Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, infrastructure investing, or a closely related field, Excel skills, including comfort building and navigating complex financial models, Basic familiarity with tax equity structures (partnership flip, T-flip) or eagerness to develop that knowledge quickly, Analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment, Comfortable adopting new technology platforms and integrating AI tools into daily workflows
Nice to Have
MBA or MS, Some exposure to tax equity concepts, VBA or Python skills, Exposure to IRS requirements, safe harbor tests, or recapture provisions, FINRA SIE, Series 79, and 63, or willingness to obtain them under Crux’s broker-dealer sponsorship
What You'll Do.
and auditing of financial models for tax equity transactions
Assist in the preparation of investment materials for Investment Committee
Work closely with Senior Managers
and the Senior Principal on transaction structuring
and deal coordination
Analyze sponsor financials
and diligence materials
Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to increase accuracy and efficiency in modeling
Contribute to process improvements and template standardization across the Investments team
Support limited external interactions with developers
Assist with portfolio management and reporting
