What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree or diploma in Business or Economics, 4-6 years of experience in a client servicing role in a financial institution, Maintain appropriate industry registration status
Nice to Have
Master's degree, Experience related to high net worth clients, Committed to the Chartered Financial Analyst program and have completed Level 1 and have 12 months of relevant investment management experience, Received the Canadian Investment Manager designation and have 24 months of relevant investment management experience
What You'll Do.
Provide assistance to the Investment Counsellor in servicing the investment needs of complex
sophisticated high net-worth clients
Support the IC in the achievement of business development targets resulting in new CPIC clients
Participate in preparing marketing material for IC review
Deliver marketing presentations
Build relationships within the CPIC team and other business partners
Participate in coaching sessions by the ICs
Work with key CIBC partners in Wealth Management including Private Banking Advisors
CIBC Trust and Imperial Service
to grow high net worth client assets
Ensure day-to-day activities are compliant with policies
guidelines and legislation/regulations
Escalate potential issues to IC
Keep up-to-date with current events
overall economic and financial environment
Analyze market data to identify activities or conditions that may impact business

Establish and maintain effective partnership and teamwork with colleagues; Build relationships within the CPIC team and other business partners; Work with key CIBC partners in Wealth Management including Private Banking Advisors, CIBC Trust and Imperial Service
