Associate Industrial Engineer **Company:** Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), in San Antonio, is seeking an **Associate Industrial Engineer** to support maintenance, modification and upgrades of various Mobility, Surveillance, and Bomber programs (MS&B). A professional in this field constantly reviews the allocation of resources, analyzes productivity, and seeks out ways to maximize production while minimizing cost. The success of the IE has a direct correlation to the success of the program they support. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Schedule work plans, data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements. * Assisting in the development of shop floor operating schedules, capacity planning, and developing spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics and operations research). * Providing summary analysis and metrics for consultation to internal customers at various levels. * Assist in research, design, development, improvement and implementation of processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts. * Utilize engineering methods to assist in developing optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, and equipment) in the creation and validation of products. * Use engineering methods to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, and equipment) in the creation and validation of products. * Candidate must be able to interact with employees to gather data for process improvements.
