What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2-6+ years of experience in a related reservoir engineering role, Bachelor’s in Engineering experience in the oil & gas industry at an operator and/or in investment banking (A&D advisory), High attention to able to manage multiple tasks, Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, Fundamental knowledge of cash flow, economics, and rate of return, Demonstrated ability to assess technical risk in economic valuations, Advanced skills in ARIES, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, experience with coding (TERR / Python), Deep understanding of public oil & gas datasets (Enverus, IHS, state websites)

What You'll Do.
Lead technical analysis and valuation of oil and gas assets
Prepare client presentations
Serve as a main contact for senior bankers and clients
Perform technical evaluations
Develop and validate production forecasts and type curves
Apply reservoir engineering and data science
Assess and categorize undeveloped inventory and related risks
Build and QC discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation models
Develop and maintain technical databases
Leverage Enverus PRISM/DI and IHS DirectConnect/Impact
Lead technical and operational due diligence workstreams
Partner with senior bankers to support transaction execution
Market assets to potential buyers
Play a critical role in A&D
