What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of transactional experience at a U. S. law firm, In-office presence in Chicago at least 4 days per week, Must be comfortable working on unique transactions on tight timelines, Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the firm
Nice to Have
Experience with transactional work relating to trading, finance, technology and/or digital assets is a plus, Experience utilizing AI legal tools is a plus
What You'll Do.
advising on term sheets
managing negotiation and execution of definitive documents
providing post-execution support
support the development of new incubated companies
from formation to legal support for operations
support DRW in structuring and negotiating joint ventures
acquisitions and other strategic initiatives
review and negotiate a broad range of contracts
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
work closely with the DRW Venture Capital team; close coordination with internal subject matter experts, internal support groups and outside counsel
Communication Scope
effectively communicate at all levels of the firm
