Must Have
2-3 years’ experience in food industry, Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, Ability to work and perform well in a team environment
Nice to Have
Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Biology, Dairy Science or related discipline or Associate degree with relevant experience, Master’s degree a plus, Dairy, beverage, or cultured products experience a plus, SAP Architecture is a plus
What You'll Do.
Manage formula development software
Optimize ingredients used in formulations
Execute laboratory best practices
Lead operation of pilot scale dairy manufacturing equipment
Drive recommendations to product development team
Lead management of pilot scale dairy equipment
Troubleshoot production issues or variances
Manage inventory of ingredients and lab supplies
Execute shelf-life testing
Lead all shipping/receiving
Write technical reports
Develop recipes for new products
Modify current recipes
and monitor plant trials
Cultivate and develop vendor relationships
Partner with cross functional partners
Manage portions of execution
Lead new product development
Supports current product improvement
