Associate/Experienced Software Engineer–Developer (Development) **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing SIWS Daybreak is hiring a hands-on engineer to develop and operate mission‑critical infrastructure and automated delivery for our software platform in **Kent, WA**. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining repeatable, secure, and observable environments that support our production mission. You will write and test code that provisions infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment artifacts — be directly accountable for their reliability in production — and empower teams by delivering tooling as a service. **Core responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to provision AWS accounts, VPCs, networking, IAM, and other cloud resources in a repeatable and auditable manner. Supports the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards. * Build, operate, and harden CI/CD pipelines to deploy services and serverless functions into development, staging, and production environments with automated testing and policy enforcement. Assists with review, analysis and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products. * Containerize applications using Docker and author/maintain Helm charts (or equivalent packaging) for reproducible deployments.
