Bachelor's degree OR minimum 2 years event coordination experience, Proven track record executing multiple events of varying types in a high paced, evolving environment, Continuing Education in the meetings focusing on innovation & event technologies, specifically Cvent

The team delivers on our brand promise by planning, organizing and hosting engaging events, including company gatherings, internal team-building, large-scale customer conferences, educational sessions, tradeshows, Summits, etc for customers, employees and local communities. **Job Summary** The Associate Events Specialist is responsible for the planning and execution of internal and external high-touch events from conception to completion including, but not limited to, social engagements, customer-facing conferences, meetings/events and corporate gifting; all consistent with GAF's key priorities. This role will apply out-of-the-box thinking and creative design to enhance the team's exposure and maintain the integrity of the GAF brand, creating signature experiences. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative partner who strives to support the team and business with a continuous improvement mindset. This role will efficiently and accurately work through a large volume of projects with nominal supervision.
