What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in renewable energy transactions, project finance, structured finance, investment banking, or private equity, Experience supporting or executing transactions involving debt, tax equity, and/or equity investments, financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience building and auditing transaction models, Familiarity with renewable energy financing structures, including tax incentives (ITC, MACRS), PPAs, project finance frameworks, and battery storage revenue models (e. g. , merchant, tolling, ancillary services), Self-starter with ability to work independently to accomplish job duties with minimal need for guidance and support in making decisions and recommendations, High degree of comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with ability to effectively manage priorities, communicate to stakeholders, and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, MBA or CFA are a plus, Direct experience interfacing with lenders, tax equity investors, or institutional capital providers, Experience with transaction processes including diligence management, data rooms, and closing documentation
What You'll Do.
Support underwriting of renewable energy assets
including reviewing assumptions with Development

Provide strategic financial insights to the development team to support negotiations with counterparties

Maintain and develop transaction and underwriting models to support structuring
negotiations with capital providers
and evaluation of project economics
Support execution of renewable energy transactions
including financial structuring
diligence coordination
and closing execution
Support preparation of investment materials
including memos and presentations for internal investment committee
Support capital raising initiatives
including investor outreach
and diligence processes
Track and synthesize market intelligence on financing structures
and investor appetite across renewable energy asset classes
