Must Have
Educated to degree level in mathematics or another close STEM related field, Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, IT systems-literate, Sharp eye for detail, At least 3-4 years of experience in a publishing environment, Able to work independently as well as smoothly cooperate in a team environment, Able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and work independently in a team environment, Resourceful and proactive in dealing with problems and queries, Excellent networking skills, Availability to travel to universities and attend national/international conferences

What You'll Do.
Managing and developing a robust Mathematics books portfolio
Acquire and publish content within the existing portfolio within a strategic framework
Identify potential authors and important topics by researching new and emerging trends in the market
both national and international
acquire and develop book proposals
including managing the external peer review process
Develop relationships with academics
in order to maintain a network of subject-area experts
and potential authors
In cooperation with editorial colleagues
develop the existing book portfolio and relationships with series editors
editorial board members
Negotiate contract terms with authors
Assist authors with manuscript preparation as needed
Prepare final manuscripts for handover to production and remain a point of contact for authors throughout the production process
