Must Have
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
health or science courses a plus, Knowledge of AMA Style, 11th Ed preferred, Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat markups/commenting for electronic reviews preferred, Curiosity/interest in medical topics desirable
What You'll Do.
support the overall quality and factual accuracy of all assigned materials
working in concert with other editors and departments
serve as a support editor on assigned brand(s)
provide backup for other editors as necessary
gain familiarity with the therapeutic area
primary reference material/data
and client particulars for assigned brand(s)
attend all brand status meetings and any other relevant or required team meetings
perform sense help resolve any content/referencing issues
work proactively with project management to communicate any issues on projects and brainstorm solutions
regularly review project timelines and hotsheets to ensure editorial steps are included
anticipate and communicate any potential editorial conflicts or issues that might impact timing
assist fellow editors with their brands by reviewing any overflow work when possible

participate in department trainings and new initiatives
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
working in concert with other editors and departments across Remedy Edge (especially Copy/Art/Account/Project Management); work proactively with project management to communicate any issues on projects and brainstorm solutions; assist fellow editors with their brands by reviewing any overflow work when possible
Process & Methodology
communicate any issues on projects, brainstorm solutions, review project timelines and hotsheets, anticipate and communicate any potential editorial conflicts or issues that might impact timing
