Must Have
1-3 years’ experience, Bachelors degree in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research and/or related disciplines, Understanding and knowledge and application of epidemiological/health outcomes methodology within pharmaceutical industry at an international level, In-depth expertise with research methods for real world research, HEOR projects including pharmacoepidemiologic models, Analytical, judgment and problem-solving skills

The Oncology Outcomes Research(O2R) team is composed of high functioning individuals with exceptional strategic, technical and communication skills. The team is a key member of the Evidence Generation and External Alliances Organization within the Global Medical function and develops strategy for and delivers impactful real world, economic and patient reported research for the AZ oncology portfolio. The mission is to focus on identifying, quantifying, and presenting the medical value proposition of molecules in the oncology portfolio. O2R is a key thought partner for the Franchise leads and an important member of the Global Medical Team and the US Core Medical Team. Activities focus on the generation of evidence to assist payer and health care provider (HCP) decision-makers and include scientific evidence for reimbursement dossiers and market access. The deliverables from this team have a significant impact on the success of the global medical strategy. The Associate Director is an individual contributor role and will be a crucial member of an Asset team that is collectively responsible for delivering strategic plans and implementing projects. The Associate Director reports to the Asset Lead, Oncology Outcomes Research, and will be responsible for leading the execution of health outcomes and real-world strategies and studies on a global and US market level.
