This role involves significant client interaction, operational oversight, and strategic team leadership. Job Responsibilities * Lead and manage a team of fund accountants, including performance management, training, and development. * Oversee the preparation and review of NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting for various fund structures (e.g., private equity, real estate, hedge funds). * Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Lux GAAP, US GAAP) and regulatory requirements. * Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing reporting insights, and managing service delivery expectations. * Review and approve complex accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. * Develop and implement operational efficiencies and process improvements within the fund accounting department. * Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., legal, compliance, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery. * Participate in client onboarding and new fund launches, ensuring smooth integration of accounting processes. * Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and new accounting pronouncements. * Assist in the preparation and review of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
