Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience delivering engineering solutions in regulated industries, Extensive experience (10+ years) in engineering leadership roles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments, Proven ability to lead complex capital projects, manage significant CapEx budgets, and deliver results in a GMP context, leadership and people management skills, with experience developing high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering teams, Demonstrated expertise in facilities, utilities, and engineering systems supporting manufacturing operations, business acumen and results focus, with the ability to adapt to change, take accountability, influence strategy execution, and consistently deliver on KPIs

**Associate Director, Engineering** **Location:** Houston, Texas – On-site Lonza Houston is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Engineering to lead site-wide engineering strategy, capital projects, and infrastructure development. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for shaping the Site Master Plan, delivering complex projects, and ensuring engineering excellence in a regulated, GMP environment. This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. **What you will get** A competitive compensation.
