What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Chartered Engineer, Proven experience in leading or directing an Electrical & ICA engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy including within a multi-disciplinary environment, Requires comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Electrical designs, Extensive knowledge of water company design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, such as WIMES, awareness of HAZOP assessments, lightning strike risk assessments, earthing and bonding, lighting designs, DSEAR and ATEX installation practices, Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance, Experience in industrial and process environment is essential, Demonstrates communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi-disciplinary teams

Experience in water market is preferred but not required

Own and direct a team of Electrical & ICA engineers
Manage time and budgets of the Electrical & ICA team
Direct and review technical deliverables
Provide technical leadership into project design deliverables
Collaborate with client
or service activities
Provide direction and guidance to colleagues
Lead the growth of local Electrical & ICA team
Work independently with minimal technical guidance
Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems
Provide technical support and direction for bid proposals
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams
Setting quality assurance standards in design
Ensure compliance from Electrical & ICA teams
Leading business development initiatives
Support leadership and management of the D&AT team
