What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related analytical, 6+ years of experience in financial statement analysis, accounting concepts, financial modeling, corporate credit analysis experience, client-facing skills, Ability to think independently and critically, integrity, analytical curiosity, problem-solving skills, research skills, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail, demonstrated quantitative analysis capabilities, Ability to accurately interpret financial data, apply analytical criteria, Collaborative team player, ability to work independently, Proactive and organized, excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines, understanding of financial reporting, capital markets, credit rating methodologies, Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, aptitude for learning proprietary analytical software and databases
Nice to Have
MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred, experience in corporate credit analysis, Experience in mentoring or coaching junior professionals in analytical roles, Demonstrated presentation experience with internal and external stakeholders, Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements, Experience with financial modeling and forecasting for insurance entities
