Must Have
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, experience in multinational organizations, Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing ERP and finance systems, knowledge of US GAAP, Japan statutory accounting and reporting requirements, Experience building accounting processes, infrastructure, and internal controls in a scaling organization, Prior experience supporting the build-out of finance operations within a Japan subsidiary of a US-based multinational company, Familiarity with regional payroll accounting, tax compliance, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing concepts, Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, Fluency in English, Fluency in Japanese
Nice to Have
CPA, US CPA, JCPA, or equivalent certification preferred, Experience supporting pre-commercial or commercial-stage biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizations, Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks, Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments, Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred
