Must Have
Linux fundamentals, Basic understanding of databases, 0 to 2 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, Hands-on experience in VMware environments (VC, ESXi, patching, upgrades, DRS, HA, vSAN, etc.), Knowledge with other virtualization technologies, Foundational knowledge of Linux systems, Basic troubleshooting skills, Proficient in programming and automation tools/languages such as Python, Shell, PowerShell, Java, etc., Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) fundamentals, Basic understanding of database concepts (RDBMS, SQL, indexing), Familiarity with at least one database system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle – basic level), Good troubleshooting and analytical skills, Basic SQL querying and database operations, Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash), Awareness of monitoring tools and logging systems, Basic knowledge of cloud or virtualization platforms, Manage and maintain Linux-based lab systems and environments, Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux servers, Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of lab resources, Assist in deployment, setup, and validation of lab environments, Troubleshoot system, network, and application-related issues, Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution and system improvements, Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps, Support automation and standardization efforts where applicable, Setup/Install/Patch multiple hardware/OS, Multiple virtualizations and cloud platforms including (but not limited to), All flavors of Linux/Unix MacOSX and Windows, Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) fundamentals, Basic understanding of system administration (users, permissions, services, networking), Good troubleshooting and analytical skills, Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, SSH, etc.), Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM), Basic knowledge of containers (Docker/K8s), Understanding of monitoring tools and logging systems

The ideal candidate should have strong Linux fundamentals along with a basic understanding of databases. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring database reliability, supporting deployments, and assisting in troubleshooting database and system-related issues. Design, develop, and automate tools and processes to support large-scale provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud platform technologies. DBRE is a professional who serves as a bridge between Development, Operations, Network, and DBA , SRE teams, taking on operational tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the infrastructure. The role is responsible for monitoring, automating, and continuously improving the reliability and performance of cloud and on-premise environments. **The ideal candidate should have 0 to 2 years** of experience in cloud infrastructure management, including hands-on experience in VMware environments (VC, ESXi, patching, upgrades, DRS, HA, vSAN, etc.) and knowledge with other virtualization technologies. Additionally, The ideal candidate should be a **Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE/ RHCSA)** or Candidate must have completed a certification/course from **CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing)**. with strong foundational knowledge of Linux systems and basic troubleshooting skills.
