With the most sophisticated big data technologies at your fingertips, you will use data to understand, meet, and anticipate the needs of our customers. **In this role, you will get to:** * Participate in cloud migration and modernizing current data systems. * Support data systems that serve hundreds of millions of real-time events a day. * Maintain and craft early warning and analytics systems using groundbreaking big data technologies. * Collaborate on building software that collects and queries data while also composing queries for investigation purposes. * Analyze and provide data-supported recommendations to improve product performance and customer acquisition. * Maintain regular communication with the project team and stakeholders, ensuring all parties have accurate and current information. * Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues within data infrastructure. **Who you are:** * Bachelor’s degree in computer science. * 2 years of Data Engineering experience using Python * Experience in writing and analyzing SQL constructs. * Basic knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark * Experienced with strategies such as indexing, machine-learned rankings, clustering, and distributed concepts. * Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust. * The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life.
