What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, 0-2 years of experience in construction, preferably within the railway or heavy infrastructure sector, Basic understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment, Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
What You'll Do.
Assist in the planning
and supervision of various construction activities on railway projects
Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
and design specifications
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
including daily reports
Help in managing and tracking materials
and resources on site
Communicate effectively with site personnel
Identify potential issues and proactively contribute to problem-solving efforts
Support the implementation of quality control procedures and participate in site audits
Adhere to all company policies
and safety guidelines
