Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience), 0–3 years of related experience (substation, electrical, or utility construction preferred), Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments, Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, organizational and time-management skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow
Nice to Have
experience with job cost tracking or estimating software is a plus

Promote and maintain a safety culture
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies
Assist Project Manager(s) in managing projects under direct supervision
Support development and tracking of project performance metrics
Assist with cost tracking
Coordinate with field crews
and utility stakeholders
Support material procurement
and equipment tracking
Assist with subcontractor management and contract compliance
Maintain project documentation including cost reporting
and budgeting records
Assist with federal/state agency correspondence and reporting
Maintain project schedules under supervision
Participate in construction-related meetings to support project coordination
Assist in proposal preparation
and quantity take-offs
Provide onsite administrative and project support during long-term assignments
Assist with change management

Our Substation Group plays a critical role in building and maintaining the backbone of the electrical grid—delivering reliable, future-ready infrastructure for utilities and communities nationwide. Position Objective The Associate Construction Project Manager – Substation, under direct supervision, serves as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles. This role must demonstrate an understanding of how the business operates, how changing circumstances are managed, and who to engage for support when needed. Success in this role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and support internal customer needs.
