What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, Minimum 3 years of experience managing construction projects from conception through close-out, Proven ability to develop, manage, and report budgets for large capital projects, understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, cost control, and risk management practices, Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and hazardous materials, Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Procore, and Smartsheet, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, Ability to operate effectively in a global environment, balancing multiple time zones and managing remote projects with minimal supervision, Flexibility for collaboration with international teams (Asia / Europe time zones)
Nice to Have
Proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with LEED, familiarity with international building codes, Experience with industrial, laboratory, or semiconductor facilities, PMP certification or equivalent project-management credential, Licensed Architect or Engineer in California
What You'll Do.
Lead and manage construction projects globally
Oversee project scope
Engage and coordinate external partners
Develop project charters and scope
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Prepare detailed cost estimates
Track expenditures and manage financial controls
Collaborate with internal teams on design solutions
Develop RFPs and negotiate contracts
Administer master construction agreements
Coordinate permitting activities
Interface with governmental agencies
Oversee project schedules and milestones
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Review and approve change orders
Approve invoices and progress payments
and quality standards
Provide project status updates
Manage punch-list completion
Collect warranty information
Manage final acceptance
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate with external design firms, contractors, and consultants; Collaborate with internal customers, IT, Security, EHS, and Facilities Design teams; Balance multiple time zones for international team collaboration; Collaborate with international teams (Asia / Europe time zones)
