Associate Communication Engineer **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an **Associate Communication Engineers** to join the P-8 Mission Systems team in Kent, Washington. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining hardware across the full development lifecycle for government and international programs. **The position will be 100% onsite in Kent, WA.** The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is a maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft developed for the U.S. Navy, based on the Boeing 737 Next Generation airliner. It supports anti-submarine, anti-surface warfare, and ISR missions, equipped with torpedoes, missiles, and sonobuoy deployment capabilities. As an Associate Communication Engineer, you will translate customer requirements into technical solutions and optimize Mission Computing Hardware for system integration. **Position Responsibilities:** • Learns, develops, and validates requirements for various communication, navigation, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. • Learns, develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, including navigation and communication; mechanical systems, interconnects and structures. • Learns and develops architectures to integrate complex systems and components into higher level systems and platforms. • Assists in trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
