What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Ability to forge relationships with key insurance markets and carrier representatives, technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites, Ability to analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance coverages, and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects, Ability to work as part of a team of professionals and build relationships with other Firm business segments, Demonstrates Firm’s behavioral tenets, exuding behavior that is aligned with corporate culture, At least 3-5 years of related insurance experience, or associated industry experience, Obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty state insurance license or other state insurance license(s), as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in states where the firm functions (or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment)

What You'll Do.

Gather information and risk management recommendations for renewals

Deliver renewals and/or binders

Manage policy activity aspects of assigned accounts

Maintain concern for timeliness and completeness

Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes

Determine acceptability and placement

Complete applications or endorsements

Collect premium when applicable

Review existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited

Cultivate relationships with Insurance Company Partners

Know carrier requirements and attributes

Look for opportunities to improve the firm

Bring issues and discrepancies to leadership
