What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3–5 years of experience working with modern accounting systems, Understanding of core accounting principles, Ability to analyze data, Experience supporting or assisting in the design and implementation of accounting and finance technology stacks, Hands-on experience with historical accounting clean-up and balance sheet reconciliations, Proven ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies within financial statements, problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, organization, effective time management, Self-motivated and accountable, Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt in a fast-paced environment, deliver high-quality work within established scope and timelines, Experience working directly with clients or internal stakeholders, communicating professionally and confidently, Advanced Excel skills, experience documenting processes, creating training materials, supporting the rollout of new tools and workflows, Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn, interest in staying current on emerging accounting technologies, e-commerce tools, industry trends
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with accounting software products like Xero, Intacct, BILL, etc., Familiarity with Project Planning tools such as Wrike, exposure to larger or emerging systems a plus, exposure to senior or executive-level contacts
