6+ years of relevant experience in auditing for a financial and/or banking institution, Knowledge of life insurance and asset management business, Knowledge of audit methodologies, Knowledge of control frameworks, Knowledge of risk management techniques, Ability to quickly understand business processes and risks, Ability to identify key controls, Ability to analyze complex situations, Ability to make practical recommendations, Results-oriented, Able to balance multiple priorities, Manage projects with attention to detail, Maintain a focus on the 'big picture', Amenability work mid shift hours, 3:00pm MNL time onwards

What You'll Do.

Delivery of high quality
value-added and risk-based audits of assigned areas
segments and countries
Preparing the MBPS annual audit plan based on risks and applicable requirements for assigned areas
Preparing presentation materials for various committees and executive meetings
Planning and executing and/or leading various types of audits
Evaluating the management of risk and internal controls in business
Presenting findings to and reaching agreement with the business unit/regional make practical and value-added recommendations
Preparing audit reports
Utilizing data analytics techniques to improve effectiveness and efficiency of audit process
Assisting in issue follow-up with business unit/regional management regularly on the status/ implementation of corrective action plans for timely audit issue closure
Ensuring quality of work completed and in accordance with the audit methodology
departmental standards and regulatory requirements
Liaising and collaborating with local and onshore audit teams
Actively participating in departmental initiatives

Full Job Description
We’re looking for an **Assistant Audit Manager** at MBPS. In this role, you are accountable for planning, executing and/or leading and completing audit projects (including key risk audits, key risk reviews, consulting, investigations and other special projects). The candidate is also responsible for the delivery of high quality, professional, cost-effective, value-added and risk-based audits of assigned areas, segments and countries (including MBPS, global functions, Asia and GWAM segments). **Position Responsibilities:** * Assist in preparing the MBPS annual audit plan based on risks and applicable requirements for assigned areas. * Assist in preparing presentation materials for various committees and executive meetings. * Plan and execute and/or lead various types of audits (including Sarbanes-Oxley Project (aka SOX)) in accordance with the audit methodology, departmental standards and regulatory requirements. * Evaluate the management of risk and internal controls in business. * Present findings to and reach agreement with the business unit/regional management; make practical and value-added recommendations to improve control environment and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. * Prepare audit reports; audit reports are to be clear, concise and well-organized, and issued within departmental service standards. * Utilize data analytics techniques to improve effectiveness and efficiency of audit process. * Assist in issue follow-up with business unit/regional management regularly on the status/ implementation of corrective action plans for timely audit issue closure. * Ensure quality of work completed and in accordance with the audit methodology, departmental standards and regulatory requirements. * Prepare audit reports; audit reports are to be clear, concise and well-organized. * Prepare presentation materials for various committees and executive meetings. * Follow-up with business unit/regional management regularly on the status/implementation of correctiv
